Mary Susan Caston is a trained clinical herbalist living on the Northern California redwood coast, where nature and her family are her continuous inspiration. She attended The Northwest School for Botanical Studies where she first started her professional herbal path over twenty years ago. Also an alumni of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Mary Susan never left her love of philosophy which keeps her a student of life.

Mary Susan found her gift as an herbalist lies in intuitive herbalism and in aiding others in awakening their own self-healer. Herbs act on so many layers of the individual both seen and unseen, but always felt. Early on her herbal practice she noticed that not only she, but her clients main focus when using plants as medicine was a desire and need to address emotional and mental health. We are having natural reactions to unnatural settings in our modern world and plants are the perfect bridge and companions to help heal ones true nature. Plants are not only helpful in these cases, but powerful healers. Plants call for people and Mary Susan is able to hear them and incorporate them into one’s life. Mary Susan makes custom aromatic blends, flower essences, and individual tincture formulas after a brief personal intake process. Aromatic Art Soul Alchemy sessions are available for individuals or groups.
